The heel is always completely free of pressure, which promotes the healing process and reduces discomfort. The opening at the back allows the heel to be observed. In addition, the sides and ankles are also protected and the sole of the foot is also well supported, so that pointed feet are prevented.

The Prolevo heel mattress is delivered already inflated and is immediately ready for use by the patient. It also has a valve with which you can refill the mattress if necessary. The heel mattress is very user-friendly and is easy to attach with adjustable straps. This prevents the mattress from sliding away, as can be the case with positioning cushions. The heel is always completely pressure-free, which promotes the healing process and reduces discomfort. Particularly useful if the patient cannot tolerate heel bones and pressure relief is still required at the heel level. Or when a patient is still mobile and it is therefore not an option to use heel bones due to the risk of falling. This anti-decubitus mat can also be used for short stays or, for example, for dialysis patients when the time is too short to provide an alternating system but pressure relief at the heel level is still necessary during treatment.
