Numerous clinical studies have demonstrated the benefits of warming infusion fluids before they are administered to the patient. Even mild hypothermia in patients increases the risk of infectious complications, prolongs hospitalisation and increases the amount of medication taken. Failure to maintain a patient’s normothermia not only leads to a deterioration in the patient’s condition but also results in higher financial costs for the hospital.

Guidelines emphasise the importance of warming infusion fluids as part of hypothermia prevention.

EmTherm 1D

A tabletop model designed for ease of use, even in the busiest wards. The 1D provides heat safely, reliably and user-friendly wherever it is needed in the clinic. Long walks to and from warming cabinets installed in a central location are a thing of the past, which can be particularly important in emergencies.

EmTherm 2D

Space in the pre-operative theatre, operating theatre or intensive care unit is always at a premium, and large warming cabinets are often placed far from the point of care. The solution is the EmTherm 2D, a handy, medium-sized mobile cabinet with two self-closing drawers, a safety feature preventing both drawers from being opened simultaneously, and anti-static, lockable swivel castors.

Accessories: An optional shelf is available for more effective heating of additional irrigation bags.

EmTherm 1D + 2D

When extra capacity is required, the EmTherm 1D fits perfectly on top of the 2D, achieving a total load capacity of 90 litres.

EmTherm 3DS

A mobile warming cabinet with a capacity of 300 litres, fitted with 5 removable and height-adjustable shelves for flexible storage that meets the most demanding requirements, whilst the robust castors allow it to be moved for floor cleaning.

EmTherm 3DW

A 300-litre mobile double-chamber warming cabinet with two separate compartments. The upper compartment has three height-adjustable shelves, featuring a unique air curtain system that minimises the loss of warm air when the door is opened, whilst the lower section contains two drawers. Thanks to two separate control panels, the temperature can be set individually for each chamber.

UV-C DISINFECTION SYSTEM

The warming cabinets are fitted with lamps that emit UV-C radiation, thereby disinfecting pathogens (fungi, bacteria and viruses, including coronaviruses) on the surface of the contents being heated inside the cabinets.
