Temperature Management System

The TrueCool® targeted temperature management system is used to intentionally lower core body temperature in patients who do not regain consciousness after restoration of spontaneous circulation following cardiac arrest, as well as in neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy or other brain disorders where brain damage can be avoided. The TrueCool® temperature management system is based on a cooling controller in combination with various pads and blankets. A variety of blankets and pads are available, both in disposable and reusable versions. The device's control software is intuitive, easy to use and offers the user the option to choose between automatic or manual modes.
